This piece is about living a beautiful moment and really wishing that a special someone, whether alive or departed, was there with you so you could share and enjoy it together.

Big Beastie is inspired by my childhood memories of reading Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are”. The original 48 x 60” artwork was created using a paint and brushwork technique which evokes the same energy as my pen and ink drawings.
